Our Story
It all started with a birthday surprise for my spouse, Stephanie. I wanted to give them something unforgettable. Not just a gift to sit on a shelf, but something they could use, love, and smile about every single day. When I saw just how much joy that first custom set of Joy-Cons brought, I couldn’t stop there. I made a couple more for the other gamers in my family, they absolutely adored the retro designs.
That’s when it hit me, maybe this was something I could share with the world.
For that first year, I did it all on my own. Modding, testing, packing, and shipping every single order by hand as they slowly trickled in.
Thanks to all your support, about a year and a half in *BAM!* Orders exploded around the holiday season at the end of the year. I was still working full-time, so I called in backup.
Steph completely transformed the testing and packing side of things. Setting up a rock-solid quality control process and streamlining packing to make sure every set we send out is flawless. Meanwhile, I kept my focus on modding, customer service, and shipping with the systems I’d already built.
Not long after, I lost my job (which turned out to be a blessing in disguise) & now we get to pour ourselves into this business full-time. Together, we’re dedicated to building something special and spreading a little extra joy to gamers everywhere.
